Why are our diet imbalanced?

Busy schedules in hectic contemporary living set a preference for fast, convenient and tasty diets. Our regular diet may well be characterised by ...
High in Fat,Carbohydrate,Cholesterol,Sugar,Calorie,Salt
Low in Vitamins,Minerals,Plant-based,Protein
These often lead to...
1. Deficiency of essential nutrients
- Deficiency of one essential nutrient may limit the absorption of other nutrient, hence causing unnecessary wastage. In the long term, this may lead to a Collapse of the nutritional chain in the body.
2. Tendency towards an acidic body condition
- According to expert: "In order to stay healthy, we should have a balanced nutrition intake of 80% alkaline food and 20% acidic food." - Dr.Ragner Berg of United States.
However, the choice of alkaline food is very limited. They are grouped as :
1.Vegetables 2.Egg White 3.Fruit 4.Cheese 5.Algae
Hence, our contemporary dietary habits and healthy dietary habits are in almost complete opposition!
